Influence of Nitrogen Dose and Application Method On Growth and Yield of Baby Corn

The experiment was conducted at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University during Rabi season of 2019-20 to find out the influence nitrogen management on cob yield baby corn. laid in a Split-plot design having 3 replications where four dose viz., i) 0 kg N ha-1 (N1), ii) 100 (N2), iii) 150 (N3) and 200 (N4) main plot three nitrogenous fertilizer application method Basal (M1), side dressing 30 DAS (M2) 50% basal + (M3) sub-plot. Almost all studied parameters were found statistically significant. higher plant height, dry matter plant-1, number cobs fresh weight cob-1, husk cob-1 observed Nha-1. gave highest weight. showed height (177.80 cm), plant-1 (2.91), length (9.94 (61.05 g), de-husked (11.74 g) (49.30 but (218497) from N2M3 (100 Nha-1 applied as DAS) (7732.41 ha-1) N4M2 (application DAS).
